PAYMENT AND ATTENDANCE POLICY
Payments Lessons are $25
for a 1/2 hour, or $40 for one college hour [50 minutes]. You pay for one block
of 4 lessons at a time, one per week, four per month. Payments must be made in
full and in advance, by the end of every fourth lesson. Each payment must be
made on time, as scheduled… no exceptions! Four 1/2 h.
lessons at $25 ea …….. $100 Four 1 hr.
lessons at $40 ea………..$160 Payment can be
made with cash, check or by Visa or Mastercard.
Attendance To ensure steady
progress as musicians, students are expected to maintain consistent attendance.
Promptness for every lesson is essential to avoid cutting into another student’s
time slot. If you miss your lesson, cancel or are a no show, regardless of the
reason, you loose that lesson! Not only are you paying for the teachers time,
but also for your time slot that has been reserved for only you. If you can’t make
it to your lesson and need to cancel, it must be done no later then 24 hours
before your appointed time. At that point I will try to fit you into another
time slot within your 4 lesson block, if available. You can not roll over your
missed lesson into the next month or lesson block! Holidays, Special Occasions and
Illness There will be from time to time
special events or occasions, including illness where allowances and rescheduling
will need to be made. This applies to the teacher as well as the student and
will be dealt with on an individual basis. Rescheduling will be as fair and
equitable as possible, based on availability.
